Trolls. Really, you can't tell. There's too many people *pretending* to be in a group that they're not, just to ask stupid, inflammatory stuff to make the group they're pretending to be in look bad.

Who knows where it started.
It mainly seems to be christians (any of them) v. the atheists (who don't actually belong to the same nonchurch).
As for who's being more obnoxious - that's completely a matter of opinion. You would literally have to examine every offensive question and every offensive answer from day 1 to get an accurate answer.
Any other opinions expressed here will be just that - opinions. And quite likely biased.
Although I consider myself an atheist, I'm also a Libra, which means I have the ability to see both sides and value fairness above all else!

I'm wondering the same. From what I've seen, the majority of the angry posts are the non-Christians which get the Christians upset.
If you don't believe me on this count. Take a look at the posts just in the past few screens. Most angry and antagonistic posts are aimed at Christians.
I know that I'm getting frustrated myself. It's getting harder and harder to get to the real gems of the questions. They are there, but you have to rummage through a lot of garbage lately.
Thank you for a sense of reason on this. Your post is a breath of fresh air. Especially when looking at all the nasty posts lately.
I counted 12 posts just in three screens that are nasty posts.
Why can't we just get along????

As individuals, our very existence is made from separation and judgment -- just think of how our body is constructed in terms of all the defense mechanisms (physical and psychological) and think of the fact that we take life (plant, animal) to sustain ours. The brain's thinking mechanism is all based on self versus other -- all of our relationships are based on this concept of individuality and separateness. Until that's realized, there will always be hate.
