My BF has been gone for a month for work and I want to do something special for him when he gets back...any suggestions?

by the way Iam 21 and he is 20 and we have been dating for 1 year

If you know his favorite thing to do locally plan a day for that. Or if he's a sports fan and you live in a city where there is a pro team take him to a ball game, he'll love it! Maybe a concert, make sure it's his taste in music if that's his thing.

But remember he may want to simply relax and unwind when he gets home, so a really tasty home cooked meal with a homemade pie(his favorite kind) would be great. And do pamper him so he'll feel like home is a wonderful place to return to when you are there.

I'm sure he will be tickled. You are so thoughtful to even think these thoughts that he will be very touched no matter what you choose to do. Even if it's just a HUGE Welcome Home Balloon tied around your waist;-)

If he was anything that he likes, like certain events or doing something fun, do that with him. Plus, as others will suggest for you, make him realize that he was missed when he was gone. Cook him dinner, or take him to dinner and when you get back put on something special for him and show him a really good time, even try something new that will surely make him realize that he was missed and maybe even enhance your relationship.

You did not mention what you have donein the past or how long you have been together or if you are adults. I think he would enjoy his favoirte meal prepared by you followed by a nice evening at home watching one of your favorite movies or one both of you have been wanting to see. You will get a chance to reaquaint yourselves and have some alone time without a great expense. If you and a lot of people are anticipating his return, have a small party so they can ll see him at once, get it out of their systems and allow you the rest of the time to see him.
