It depends who the person is, really. If they're a good friend, then there would be no discomfort at all. If they're someone I don't really like, or don't know well (or know at all!) then I get uncomfortable, and usually start to ramble a little bit to fill the spaces.

umm it all depends really. Ideally, like with people I know well, it's not awkward at all, it's quite fun :). But if it's someone I've never met or don't know well or don't feel too comfortable around, then of course it's pretty awkward.

yeah, it mostly depends on who it is...if it's my best friend..no. if it's one of my long lost uncles..then yeah LOL
