The muslim set there calendar with respect to the moon but in near future commercial flights will go to moon.Maybe after few decades lot of people will go and visit the moon.Maybe some of them stay there permanently.How the muslims will set there calender there when they can't see appearance and disappearance of the moon.How will they know that this is month of Ramadan or any other month????

Intresting questiion. But also consider that probably people will eventually be going out of the solar system. How do you think they will be celebrating Christmas and all other religious days?

Here are a few examples that will clear this point. Muslims offer their prayers strictly facing towards the Khana-Kaba in Mecca. But incase one is uncertain about the direction one may pray in any direction that seems most accurate to him.

A muslim is forbidden to eat haram (dead animals, pork, etc) but in face of deadly hunger one is allowed to.

Muslims pray at specific times of day according to the sun but at the poles the days are unnatural. So they follow the prayer timings of a lower latitude directly below them which has a natural 24 hours day and night.

In the case you described Muslims will probably follow the lunar clander at any specific place on earth.

The purpose of Islamic practices are not the practices themselves but the virtues and benifits obtained through these.

the moon will do what it has always done. not to worry it is a permanent fixture.
