From people sitting next to you, rude flight attendants or personnel, or really bad turbulence/near misses/emergency landings? Anything goes.

Im a private pilot but when i was still learning to fly i dive bombed my Cessna 152 into the runway at 90kts, flared at the last minute and slammed the wheels into the tarmac with such force I bounced a clear 10ft back into the air, and continued to bounce down the runway before coming to a full stop., i didnt fly for a while after that.

Ive also experianced such bad turbulance flying down a valley i thought i was going to smash the plane into the mountain side (dropped from 4500ft to 3000ft in about 3 mins due to turbulance), that was not much fun either.

I used to be afraid of flying (and "nervous").
I go to Florida every year by plane, I've gone to England and Canada plus Chicago.
That's about 20 airplane trips so I've had my share of accidents. The best time was going to England. They had great food and TV for each person. Plus toothbrushes and blankets and socks. But I've also had really bad turbulance on the way to Florida once. Even the flight attendents had to sit down. Plus, on recent flights they've lost my luggage.

Don't be afraid! You're three times more likely to get into a car accident then a plane accident.

There are a couple of bad things that have happened to me. First when I was sitting in my seat by the window I saw these mechanics looking at the engine. All of the sudden one just starts hitting it with his wrench. Then he puts some duck tape on it and walks away. My other bad experience is actually a group of things. For 3 straight times I flew on AA I was delayed so bad for some BS reason I missed my connecting flight and had to spend the night in some strange city. I will never fly AA again. (No that does not stand for Alcoholics Anonymous) DELTA RULES!!!!

I was 16, flying from Daytona Beach to Saint Louis. My flight out of Daytona to Atlanta was 45 minutes late, and my flight from Atlanta to Saint Louis was right on time. There were no further flights that day, so every adult on the plane got a free hotel room and free dinner at the hotel restaurant. I got to sleep in the security office of the airport. (minor travelling alone) and got to have reheated airliner food for dinner. They also almost didn't wake me up in time and I almost missed the morning flight. GO DELTA!!!!

During a landing the right wheel hit first then the left wheel hit and the plane went back into the air and slammed down onto the runway. Not to bad .I had rougher times in Iraq

I was going to Spain for a week with just my backpack. So I didn't bring many extra clothes and no extra shoes. And after the landing in Mallorca a stranger puked on my only pair of shoes!

It's always at the end of the flight when the air circulation shuts off and people stand up to hurry up and wait. They all smell like rotten baloney.
