NEVER BRING YOUR FRIENDS INTO YOUR RELATIONSHIP. If they feel like this then talk them and ask them why...considering their answers refelct on your actions and his and decide if they are right. If they are..then change it...if they are not right...then be happy with your man and life moves on.

You should tell him he dominates you, if you feel that way. Don't let your friends influence your thinking. Be honest with yourself. If the relationship is working the way it is, then you need to tell your friends to stay out of it or to be understanding. If he is dominating you, be very careful it usually gets worse not better.

Do you like him dominating you? Truly you're letting him dominate you. If you want it that way then why tell him what other people think? If you want things to change grow up and talk to him about it instead of bringing your friends into it. Its your relationship not theirs. You need to take care of it.

It will make him p*ssed off at you, so if he really does dominate you, show him the letter that all of your friends signed, and it would be a good idea to have 2 or 3 of your strongest, bravest, and craziest friends with you when you do. They'll keep you from backing down.

I think that that would just make things alot worse. If you think that he dominates you then you need to talk to him about it. After all it is your relationship not your friends relationaship. If the guy doesn't seem to care much about how you feel and continues to dominate you then I'd leave him. You deserve better, you deserve to be who you are.

Do you feel dominated? I would take heed to your friends' observations and start paying more attention to how he treats you. You never want to be in a controlling relaitonship no matter how attached or "in love" you are. Sometimes, removing yourself from it is the best choice, but that's left to your discrepency.

The only opinion that should matter is YOURS. It sounds like you are 'afraid' to express yourself and need to validate what you are thinking/feeling through other people. Are you afraid he is going to harm you or get violent? You don't need to be with someone who you can express yourself openly with and feel that you are walking on eggshells all the time. If that is the case, your main concern should be getting rid of this person. Good luck.

To what end? If he's really a domineering, controlling type, and you want him to stop controlling you, break up with him.

What do you think? do you agree with them? If you tell him what your friends think, it is just going to piss him off. He is not in a relationship with your friends, he is in a relationship with you. If you feel you are being mistreated, you need to speak up and let him know how you feel. That, or end the relationship. Sounds like you need to grow some huevos...
