I am not Christian, but I have seen Pat Robertson on TV before and heard a bit about him. Is he a good representation of what a Christian is? Why or why not? Do you like Pat Robertson? Why or why not?

I'm an atheist, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't represent Christianity.

He is a scam that takes little old ladies pension checks.

He is feeding off the fear of hurricanes and tsunamis right now telling people god told him they were going to be bad in 2006 so they should send him money for his relief fund.

I forgot about the call to assassinate the Venezuelan president.

He blamed 9-11 on homosexuals by the way.

Pat Robertson has additionally claimed that September eleventh befell because of the fact of our united states of america's strategies-set in direction of homosexuality and different such nonsense. So he's not any stranger to asserting outlandish issues. That mentioned, he does characterize many conservative evangelical Christians, which, as an entire, characterize an quite tiny fraction of Christendom as an entire. I agree that the Christian community has some intense subjects to handle in terms of particular representatives of the religion. i think of the main suitable thank you to try this is to steer by utilising occasion and coach those that no longer each and every physique who represents Christianity (and greater quite represents Christ) is a wild, outlandish televangelist who will say and do something to stay seen and sell a Christianity that may no longer in hassle-free terms worthwhile, yet a travesty for people who somewhat characterize a wealthy and eye-catching faith. wish i've got helped.

No I don't like Pat Robertson. He is not an accurate reflection of Christianity.

1) He is making large amounts of money through the ministry.
2) His teachings are under scrutiny
3) He is not an accurate reflection of what Christ called us to become.
4) He and other television religious superstars give non-Christians an impression that Christianity is about making money off of the poor.

I'd rather trust the word of a simple preacher any day who teaches the Bible and how it can be applied to your life and who lives out his faith every day. To me, the honest ministers have taken a black eye because of the lavish lifestyle of the religious rich and famous.

I like Pat R., he has done a lot of good things. He has a tendency to say things sometimes that may not be to Christian sounding. His intent is good, I believe, though not always worded well. After all, he is human, and he is a sinner like everyone else.

I'm a Christian, but Pat Roberts embaresses me. He is way too concerned about sinners, homosexuals and liberals. He talks of how people are going to hell etc. And he's too involved in politics. In my church, which has give me a spiritual path, we don't ponder the bad (sinners, hell, conservatives etc) we concentrate on the good in life, God's Love, Jesus and His sacrifice and Love etc. Non christians, please don't let Pat define us.

He's a multimillionaire fraud who has business interests all other the world. He exploits the poor and the gullible. Too involved in politics. Big time liar and hypocrite. Probably mentally ill. Other than that a fine person. But I'm not a "Christain".

No - Just like Cynthia McKinney isn't a good representation of what a Democrat is & Louis Farrakhan isn't a good representation of what African Americans are. Bush isn't exactly a good representation of what Republicans are, either.

I love Pat Robertson. I think he does his best to be a hand of God, if he could do more he would. If he could be perfect he would.

He is a sad excuse for a person let alone a christian.

For example he advocated for the US sending in special forces to assassinate the president of Venezuela just a few months ago.
