We need a full boycott to Thailand, the people there beat, rape, sell and abuse the refugees from Laos, Vietnam and other countries. They do the sickest things to them right in public view. I would say that the Thai people are the crueless people in the world. Old Thai men have made a tradition of raping the refugee children on public transportation for the fun of destroying the childs life. Thais ( especialy the Muslims ) are the most racest people I have ever met. I call out to all those who wish to trvel to asia to Boycott Thailand and go to Vietnam or another country in the area. There is simular abuse from the Chinese in the Philippines, it is truly sick the child sex trade there is ran by the Chinese and the muslims. They run the drug trafficing there and sell to little kids in the street. The police in both these countries are 99% corruped and that will never change. If a non- profit sends clothing there it is taken by customs and sold for there own profit. Email there Embassies.

You are wrong in painting the whole country and most Thais as cruel and racist!
Regardless of where you are, not all your friends, relatives, neighbors or countrymen are perfect. There are good and bad people everywhere.
Most people will not see or experience anything like you said in Thailand. If you think you can go to a problem-free place, you probably should stay home where you have a full control and knowledge of what is going on.
If you are trying to solve the problems that you mentioned, I would say thank you for your concern. Bad people should be arrested and punished. Tourists who come to Thailand for underage sex and drugs should be stopped.

You really need to give some websites to give your story some credibility. I know many horrible things happen in Thailand but sex slavery is big in Canada and the US right now too. I found the Thais to be quite lovely for the most part although it is obvious that there is some corruption and there is a large sex and drug trade.
I don't think boycotting travel is the answer here. I think that the countries need to work with the Thai government to find and arrest foreign men that are paying for the services of these children. Oddly enough Holland has been working with the Thai goverment to catch sex tourists and prosicute them. They watch men of certain demographics and check what hotels they are staying at as certain hotels are involved then they arrest them.

I am married to a Thai woman and I have been there 12 times already, next friday we go back for vacation again. I have never seen anything like what you describe. Sorry to disappoint but ALL of South East Asia has sex trade going on. The Thais are the nicest people I have ever met (my own fellow Americans included) I say go to the country but boycott the sex trade if anything.

Abhisit Vejjajiva, Democrat Party leader, renewed his call for Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra to find more constructive measures to solve violence in the deep South as people there are now living in fear.
The Democrat Party leader, expressing his sorrow to the family of an outgoing senator representing the troubled southern province of Narathiwat who was shot and seriously wounded early Sunday, Mr. Abhisit said the incident showed that rather than solving the problem, violence in the deep South was still fierce.
The government should review and revise proposals on solving the violence in the region made by the now disbanded National Reconciliation Commission and implement them.
He said he could see people in deep South were living in fear and distrust each other when he visited the region recently and an implementing policy would be the first aid solving the trouble.
"What I can do is to request (the government). It‘s not a political issue as it is only amending the policy because the situation has deteriorated," Mr. Abhisit said. "I think losses in each day cannot be estimated."
He said empowering army chief Gen. Sonthi Boonyaratkalin to tackle the southern insurgency alone was not enough and it was necessary to "overhaul strategy" on dealing with the unrest which has seen more bloodshed since January 2004.
His statement followed yesterday‘s strong remarks by Defense Minister Gen. Thammarak Isarangura Na Ayutthaya advising the army chief to contain the violence there with stronger action against the insurgents.
Gen. Thammarak said "the authorities must learn how to hit back instead of just permitting the insurgents to hit them," and that "sweet talk alone" did no good.

But you are right. I see many things also during my 10 years down here. But all countries have a back side. To visit Thailand is ok. To live here is a complete other thing.
But all the Asian countries around Thailand do similar. Regarding the muslims in the south, then the Thais hate them also. There is always problems with muslims at the border to Malaysia.

You should show proof of this instead of just accussing. Every country has sex trade going on in some part of their country. If you are going to boycott thailand them you should also boycott all the middle east and central america and south america countries that support terrorism. I have been to thailand 4 times and i havent seen anything like you have described. Alot of human trafficking is happening in Turkey. They offer women from asian countries good jobs and when the women go there they learn it was all a trick to get them there for prostitution. Alot of women are taken from thailand and the phillipines to Turkey and other human trafficking countries.

If I may rain on your parade, I detect that you have a strong bias against Muslims. An I correct? I think your own prejudice is your own motivation for this delusional boycott OF AN ENTIRE NATION. You're being ridiculous. Wake up!!!
From my personal experience the asian muslims are the least likely culprits in this supposedly epidemic raping spree in Thailand and its neighboring nations.
Maybe you should actually visit the area and form your own opinions that are based on fact instead of hearsay. Otherwise, just get a life.
Also, Thailand is majority Buddhist

you are a pretty sad man. have you ever been there or did you just read some bulls**t in a tabloid? i live in thailand and while there are some things like corruption and sex tourism, even rape etc, it's a long way from the sensationalist picture you are trying to paint here. wake up buddy and get yourself a paper bag to breathe into.
