Black Pepper and Honey Beef
Serves 4.


Vegetable oil
1 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
2 Cloves garlic, crushed
1 Onion, sliced
10 oz. snow peas
2 Tbsps. honey
2 tsps. soy sauce
2 Tbsps. oyster sauce
3 tsps. freshly ground black pepper


Heat the wok until very hot, add 1 tablespoon of the oil and swirl it around to coat the side. Stir-fry the beef for 2 or 3 minutes in batches over high heat. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Reheat the wok, add 1 tablespoon of the oil and stir-fry the garlic, onion and sugar snap peas until softened another 3 or 4 minutes. Remove them from the wok and set aside.

Add the honey, soy sauce, oyster sauce and cracked pepper to the wok. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 3—4 minutes, or until the sauce thickens slightly.

Increase the heat, return the meat and vegetables to the wok, and toss for 2—3 minutes, or until well combined and heated through.

Ready for the hungry bunch in less than 20 minutes including slicng & dicing.

To me, supper is like the last meal of the day right before you go to bed.

Make it light or it will sit in your tummy and the fats will start rolling in when you snooze. Besides that you'll be too uncomfortable to sleep.

Try maybe a cup of milk, a cookie or two or a slice of garlic bread, some yoghurt or a light protein shake.

Works great for me and I go to bed feeling contented but not overloaded.

Four cheese, four mushroom, Escargot Pizza. Cook the escargot till almost crunchy in garlic and butter. Cook the mushrooms in the snail butter. Grease the pizza pan with the snail butter. Spread the dough, top with pizza sauce, add grated cheeses (your choice) top with mushrooms, escargot and bake until perfect. Open some red wine and enjoy.

Hobo’s Delight

1 lb. Hamburger
1 can Tomato Sauce
1 small Onion, chopped
1 can Whole Kernel Corn
1 sm. pkg Noodles
1 cup Cheese, grated

Cook noodles and drain. Brown hamburger meat and onions; add salt and pepper. Add Tomato Sauce and corn. Layer alternately meat, noodles, cheese. Top with cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees till bubbly.


This is GREAT. Serve with English Peas and Crescent Rolls

Boneless Skinless chicken breast..

Sprinkle with garlic powder and

onion salt

cook in a frying pan until almost done

pour in 2 Tbsp orange juice and continue cooking until the orange juice glazes the chicken and turns brown!

Serve with a salad and the veggie of your choice.

a big ole chef salad with chicken breast, bacon, cheese, & eggs w/ garlic bread on the side. No need heating up your kitchen this time of year.
