my ex is goin to his solicitor to try and get parental rights the thing is he wasnt around and refused to have anything to do with my baby until she was born, he was also very abusive towards me and threatened to punch me in the stomach, i didnt put him on the birth certificate because i didnt think he deserved to be he does see his daughter with his mum on a sunday because i want my daughter to kno her dad, and i admit he has been a very gd dad to her since she was born. but would he have a chance of gettin parental rights if he is not on her birth certificate ?

As long as the dna matches it dose not matter he was not on the certificate. He has as much legal right as you to get visitation. Not listing him dose not mean he has no rights. Congrats on letting him see the child. I understand he was a s*hit head to you maybe he'll be a better Dad then he was a lover. My daughters dad has not called tried to see or sent support in 3 years. If you have a man who is willing to Father let him be that don't fight him just because he treated you badly.

Yes, because he can get a DNA test done to prove that he is actually the father. The birth certificate is just a piece of paper.
