My sisters name is Jarrelle(2 syllables with emphasis on the second syllable) we were told by my uncles sister who has a daughter with the same name, but spelled differently that it is a french name that may have originated somewhere around Louisiana.

then maybe its Cajun = French

my mid name is Gabrielle which is french and pronouced french .. NOT LIke GAB-RE-L --

My sis mid name is Danielle... also french ..

SOOO.. maybe Jarrelle .. is french ..
but me being from Louisiana.. i much prefer to call it "Cajun"
rather then 'French' .. since i'm not too fond of them.. haha
