He and I went to middle school togther and I knew I liked him the first time I saw him so I started being his friend and then I told him I liked him,but he rejected me saying, "I just want to be friends." So I thought to myself I would get over him,but sadly I didnt,so now after 5 years I am finally going to tell him how I feel but I am just scared he will reject me again and I dont know what and how to tell him.

Rejection can hurt.. especially if it's someone you really want to be with.. or if it may hurt your realtionship. I would be careful. Is he the type of person who shows emotions? A blunt person? Because if he is and he likes you too, he would have already mentioned it. If you really have the courage to tell him how you feel then go for it.. but be prepared if he doesn't feel the same way. You wouldn't want to ruin a good friendship.

see, i was in the same situation once, well, mine was even stranger - i fell in love with a guy once and ended up like good friends because he had another girlfriend. she was more intelligent but i was beautiful and, when they broke up, we became a couple. after a while i discovered that he was boring, mean, he knew that i loved him and he took advantage of the situation. so, finally, i had to admit that i regretted deeply the time when we were only friends. (when things got really unbearable, i left him without any warning) still, what i want to say is that you might lose a good friend like that and have a big disappointment! good luck, anyway, it's your choice.

If you feel as if he is going to reject you again then i advise you not to tell him. If you cant be friends with him, then you needs to go find another friend. And if he ask why, just tell him that you like him more than a friend and you cant hide your feelings anymore.

I would say that I liked him more than a friend and I haven't said anything for a long time because I didn't want to ruin us being friends. I'm hoping that we can go out as friends or as boyfriend and girlfriend. Good Luck!

Ask him if he remembers saying that he just wanted to be friends. Only do this after he See's you with another boy. This will either make him jealous or he doesn't care. Move on maybe he likes boys. Wow Roxy wrote a book. Ha Ha

If You can tell him how you feel without backing him into a corner that is fine, but if you have any expectations that your friendship will change to the one you want, you will be dissapointed. Any drop it afterwards if you are rejected. If you don't expect anything then whatever happens will happen anyway

do not I repeat do not do it....would you risk losing him as a friend....trust me when a F/M friendship turns to more they do not make it and it ruins the friendship, so think really hard on this one....best bet is to stay friends
