if you do not want to try pills...try exercise and cut up vegetables, large amounts. carrotts, celery, any cruncy veggie. when you need to munch grab for the veggies instead.
dont bring home fried foods, pastas, breads, chips, cookies. trade the high fat foods for more nutritious stuff. and exercise....Here is a web site with lots of exercises, food and nutrition...

Ask your doctor for a diet pill called Phentermine. I have taken that before and I lost about 30 pounds with it. If you have a heart problem or something wrong with your breathing, then you probably can't get it prescribed. Also, insurance won't cover it or the doctors visits, if that is what your doctor puts down on the insurance papers that is filed. I know that when I got it, I paid $30/for a 30 day supply.
