Jews do not believe Jesus was the Messiah. They do not believe in the virgin birth, and neither do a lot of other people.

So, if Jesus didn't have a set of parents (assuming Joseph was not the father), and if Jesus was not the Messiah, then why would anybody take offence to the question?

Not sure if he would be considered a bastard, more than likely Joseph raised him as his own. But since he wasn't Joseph's, I guess he would be the product of infidelity.
Maybe that's why there's nothing in the Bible about teen-Jesus. Hormones start racing, he probably goes through a goth period. Joseph would tell Jesus to do his chores, they argue. Then Jesus yells "I don't have to listen to you! You're not my real dad!", and storms out the room.

I don't know for sure, but there may be two problematic issues of the "virgin birth":

1. Yes, Jesus being born out of wedlock could legitimately (oops) be called a "bastard."

2. However, the ancient Greek and Roman terminology for "virgin" meant not married marriage and "virgin birth" meant having a baby out of wedlock. So there could be many "virgin births" which may be why so many children might have been sought for slaying had an order gone out to kill virgin birthed children the night Jesus was supposedly born.

No. Jesus was concieved by the holy spirit placing him in Mary's womb. Mormons say that God had many sons (a lie), but the point is that God did not have sex with Mary for the conception of Jesus, as the mormons say. Jehovah's Witnesses' believe ( as do Muslims) that Jesus was not fully God, a a prophet. Not true. He was fully God and fully Man

First of all, a BASTARD is one who does not know who their father is. Jesus knew he was the son of the living God thats why he told Mary his mother that "he must be about his Fathers business"

I shake my head at your question...some people!

If you want to get technical about it, then yes. Mary wasn't married to God or Joseph, so he was essentially conceived out of wedlock thus making him a bastard child.

There are no illegitimate children; only illegitimate parents.

Even by our society's close-minded, judgemental standards, Jesus was not a bastard child. Remember Joseph? He was there the whole time.

So, my answer would be no, you are not right.

Sorry.
