This is coming from a girl, so I may not get it all right, but- I think it's different for different guys, but it's a great question to ask guys. Gets them to show whether they're jackasses or not. A jackass will like girls with low self-esteem because he doesn't have enough of his own to be able to compete. An abusive jackass loves a low self esteem because it makes you oh so easy to take advantage of. Now a real man will love your self-esteem. It will make you more interesting and charismatic and will motivate him to prove that he's worthy of you.

Depends on the guy but I know I would rather be in a relationship with a girl that isn't so insecure I have to constantly be there telling her she's great just so she can get through the day. The high self esteem woman stands a better chance of having successful relationships too.

Personally I think that guys are intimidated by women with high self-esteem. Guys sometime like to control and manipulate a woman so if she does not think much of herself then who else will.

well, all i can say is i have high self esteem, and a lot of guys tend to like me. confidence is sexy, in woman and men!!!!
and about the guys saying they like the girls with low self esteem cuz its easier to get in their pants. . ignore them. those aren't the girls guys want long term relationships with. they're the girls guys will use and throw them away.

Depends on the guy. Don't be snooty or anything, don't act like you're better than anyone...you can have high self esteem but you don't have to project it to everyone. Just be confident in yourself.

Honey, if the girl doesn't have self esteem, why should anyone else appreciate her?
Have you ever been around someone who depreciates him or herself? It is tiring, depressive, really puts you down.
(but someone with TOO MUCH self esteem is also tiring... be careful!)
