I learned recently of the name "Tack." Is this a boy's name or a girl's name? What do you think of this name?

I actually first heard that name on a great movie entitled "The Stoned Age." There was this dude named Tack who was always picking his nose and acting like a moron. They used to refer to him as, "Tack, you cack." I wouldn't recommend naming anyone Tack, for this reason alone.

Tack, I am assuming is a boy's name similar to Lance or Tank.

My sister has a cat named Tack. It's male.

I think it sounds like something you use to stick a poster on your wall. I would definitely not give this name to my kids.

I think that you should Tack it on the wall and find a new one.

not a good name, do you really want to saddle a child with a weird name like that for the rest of their life? you don't even know if it is a boy or girls name!! why do that to a little kid?

Sounds like a guy's name...it's a little abrasive, but it would be a cute nickname for a longer name.
