Not in the sence that most people think of rapture.

"Then Jesus told them another story: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who planted good seed in his field. That night, when everyone was asleep, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat and then left. Later, the wheat sprouted and the heads of grain grew, but the weeds also grew. Then the man's servants came to him and said, 'You planted good seed in your field. Where did the weeds come from?' The man answered, 'An enemy planted weeds.' The servants asked, 'Do you want us to pull up the weeds?' The man answered, 'No, because when you pull up the weeds, you might also pull up the wheat. Let the weeds and the wheat grow together until the harvest time. At harvest time I will tell the workers, "First gather the weeds and tie them together to be burned. Then gather the wheat and bring it to my barn..." Then Jesus left the crowd and went into the house. His followers came to him and said, "Explain to us the meaning of the story about the weeds in the field." Jesus answered, "The man who planted the good seed in the field is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed are all of God's children who belong to the kingdom. The weeds are those people who belong to the Evil One. And the enemy who planted the bad seed is the devil. The harvest time is the end of the world, and the workers who gather are God's angels. "Just as the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all who cause sin and all who do evil. The angels will throw them into the blazing furnace, where the people will cry and grind their teeth with pain. Then the good people will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. You people who can hear me, listen." (Matthew 13:24 - 43 NCV)

According to Jesus, the people of God and the people of the devil will not be seperated untill the end of the world!

Pay attention to the Israeli conflict. The Bible says that all will be against Israel. Eventually a leader will come and settle a peace contract for around 4 years. This peace contract will fail. There are many others. It also says the seas will be unsettled. More earthquakes than usual. Israel will become a nation again. Which happened in the 40's. Wars and rumors of wars more that will be and will ever be. Tons of other things. Those are only a few things. To many things to name. Oh yeah, the rise of Babylon once again (Which in modern days is Iraq)only to fall once more. But Christ also says not to worry because these things must come to pass. That there will be many treaties but they all will fail. I am speaking over a thousand years ago this was written. It could be another a hundred years but from what we are seeing today it could be very very soon. Remember it says when you see all these things look up for he draws near.

no longer all 'religious' human beings believe contained in the theory of the Rapture. This doctrine replaced into presented contained in the overdue l800's, and there is amazingly no scriptural backing for the theory that believers will "upward thrust to fulfill the Lord contained in the air" previous to the Tribulation era. Scripture states that "the lifeless in Christ shall upward thrust first, and we who're alive will be stuck as a lot as meet the Lord contained in the air". The Bible also states that Jesus will go back to earth on the top of the Tribulation era. there is not any element out by any ability of two returns - one to take believers out in the previous the problem starts and yet another on the top. The Rapture doctrine is fairly an pleasing scenario, and that i could honestly want to be removed from the earth in the previous a time of tribulation. besides the undeniable fact that, i imagine it truly is presumptuous to base an total doctrine on one scripture. The bible says that believers will be martyred with the help of the anti-christ, and that believers will wade through merely as Jesus suffered. Jesus stated that the servant could assume no longer something more effective than what replaced into carried out to the draw close, so i in my opinion do not believe contained in the Rapture. My existence is in His palms, no matter if i'm in the international, contained in the grave, or stuck as a lot as meet Him contained in the air.

No, because thats not in the bible
Matthew 24:21 says the great tribulation worst than the world has ever seen. On account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short. If they were raptured what difference would it make.

I personally feel that it is a state of mind just like this life is a state of God's mind. He will simple change our perception in the twinkling of an eye and we will be in a mindset where the stuff called Armageddon will not be happening. Then, when it's over we will return to Earth to live and rein with Christ for a thousand years. Sounds good to me even if it is different then my perception at this time. It might be OK to be here with Christ while the battle goes on knowing that the end result is the same.Either way it will be an exciting ride and I for one, AM READY. come Lord Jesus.

If you're referring to the first resurrection, it will occur at the appointed time, at the last trump.

The seventh trump to be precise, the trumpets follow the seals in Revelation 6.

Now for the bad news. Even though four of the seals have been opened, we still have to wait through three more seals, and 6 trumpets.

This could take a while.

According to Christian belief, the dead in Christ will rise out of their graves. The earth will open up and skeletal remains will pop up and fly up to the stars, scaring little children in the process. The graveyards will be a huge mess with mounds of dirt and toppled tombstones everywhere, but that mess is only for those poor sinners who are left behind.

Then, the living in Christ will go up in the sky. If they are indoors, they will go out the windows or through the rooftops or through the top of their cars, and thru the top of airplanes, regardless of the pressure factor. If they are in the Holland Tunnel, they will go thru the top of the car AND through the river above it and then keep on going.

So, there you have it. Skeletal remains and living humans all flying through the air, past the moon, past the sun, past Saturn, past whatever else is out there, going for millions of light years to Heaven, with no concern for oxygen or cold temperatures or collisions with asteroids or flying into the face of burning stars. Bon voyage!

As for when it will happen, if the Christians have their way and scare everybody into joining God's army, then it will happen very soon. They are trying their best to make it happen. Why else is all of this armageddon stuff going on in the middle east? Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.

When the Rapture comes, all religious fanatics who supported the coming of Armagedden will be wisked away, finally removed from the hair of those who would otherwise take personal responsibility for their lives and proper care of this planet.

Those "left behind" will be the ones truely blessed. "The *meek* will inherit the earth", remember, not the fundimentalists backing the state.

it is very near, the bible says that a generation shall not pass from the time of Israel becoming a nation when all prophecy will be revealed. if your give a generous number of 100 years for a generation, then no later than 2048 will he return, but the bible defines a generation as 70 years. Israel became a nation in 1948 (if i have my facts straight anyway), therefore it may be sooner than 2018. but mark my word, it is near, i know you've heard this all your life if you've been in church but it is seriously close. just study the bible and watch Israel, when Israel signs a peace covenant with the world, a covenant that will be brought forward by one man that Israel will accept as being Jewish, then you will know that this earth has only 7 years left as we know it.

The Word of God is being preached & published around the globe. Israel is being restored. Antichrist mentalities are easily discerned. Natural disasters around the world. God is pouring His Spirit out in greater measures. People are seeing visions & having dreams. Wars & rumours of wars. Etc. etc...
The rapture & the 1st resurrection are the same. It started when Jesus rose from the dead & will be complete when we see Him as He Is & change in the twinkle of an eye.
