You find error in Bible. You say that in Bible God told us that he created light before sun and moon. But you should no that scientists
were always wrong. They modified. Scientists believe that the sun revolves around the earth. Then they change their mind. Actually,
light created before sun and moon will be proved in future. we just lack the technology to prove that. So, every contradiction in Bible which is scientific innature is just apparent.
Classical Mechanics was faulty. So, they invented General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics.
It's faulty--so they invented String Theory which still is metaphysics.
The problem is their faulty assumptions. The scientists should study Bible first to construct real scientific theory. And also creat Biblical Mathematics. They were wrong when they believed in Darwin's theory. Now realizing that Biblical Creationist theory is the reality.

answer to shlov28:
No--actually the earth is flat according to Bible. It will be proved with latest technology. We don't need to
be apologetic to the scientist morons.

A few points.
Scientists were not "always wrong." The goal of science is to come to knowledge about the natural world by finding the causes of things in nature. You could say, and you would be correct, that God is the cause of all things in nature. However, it is also good to find more proximate causes for things in nature.
The reason that scientists believed that the sun revolved around the earth was that it was the most obvious conclusion at the time. What a lot of scientists have a hard time with (and I'm with them on this one) is the question of how there can be light without a source for this light.
Perhaps something you want to ask yourself before you continue with questions about science is this: what kind of light is being referred to in Genesis? Is it in fact physical light, or is it a metaphor for something spiritual, or possibly both?

Wow, good point. It's true, scientists make a lot of big assumptions based on very little evidence. The Bible said thousands of years ago that the earth hangs upon nothing, that it is round like a sphere, that the rain/wind/etc. comes and goes in cycles, and so forth. The Bible was scientifically accurate way before man discovered that the earth is not flat, and you won't fall off if you traveled around it. All of this points strongly to the Creator, who made every physical law and put scientific facts in the Bible. The definition of "science" to me is man trying to figure out God's creation.

You're so silly =) Science is all about having a theory, then testing it to see if it's true. Of course there are faulty assumptions, that's why we LOOK FURTHER, and examine our beliefs, to see if they hold water. Maybe someday science will prove that there is indeed a god. At least we're open-minded enough to keep looking....and to admit when what we thought was true was actually not. And scientists were NOT always wrong, btw....that's when things graduate from theories to laws...like, say, gravity. Gonna tell me gravity doesn't exist? Do you think someone will disprove gravity one day? Actually, it makes me happy to think that someone might try =) At least they're thinking and questioning.
Oh, and the thought of biblical mathematics scares the **** out of me!! Yikes!!

Scientists don't claim all theories to be true. That's the beauty of science, part of searching for the truth is eliminating theories that don't work. You think all science should be based on the Bible? If it wasn't for science you wouldn't have a computer. All the technology that was used to make your computer came from science, not the Bible.

I agree, for centuries scientist thought that the planet was flat but if those same scientist would have read the Hebrew text The book of Job had already told man the world was round. But they refuse to acknowledged the creator.

So - how HAVE you benefited from science?
Are you suggesting we just do away with the entire field of study?
And did you actually say "every contradiction in the Bible"?????
Is this an admission that the Bible DOES contain contradictions?

You really know nothing about scientific method. Not a question, you just don't know anything about it. That is the best they could figure out with what they had but when they had better tools and intelligence they could figure it out with a lot more accuracy. Good job being loudly ignorant.

Can you explain why the bible says that a bat is a bird?
PS: Do you believe that homosexuality is a sin?
Because you show yourself dressed in purple (gay pride color) latex, and the color scheme would imply tall yellow boots.

science is great because it does not tell truth, it tries to describe natural phenomena as best it can.
last I remember, didn't the friggin church imprison galileo because he said the earth revolved around the sun? didn't they used to execute heretics?
I dont think scientists ever imprisoned or executed people for their idiotic religious beliefs.
