I'm not a Christian and do not plan to become one. However, I do study religions for fun. The morals behind Christianity are supposed to be based on peace and love, but the irony of it is--everyone is sinful by nature.
Sounds contradictory to me, and it's no wonder Christianity, and many other religions lead to mass hysteria and cofusion. In this case: "Can I beat up non-believers?".
But, the gentleman Grim Reaper, seems to be making a joke, not supporting fundamentalist values.

No, the guy was obviously making a joke, the statement is dripping with sarcasm.
But you are right on the Fundamentalists not practicing peace and tolerance. They certainly teach it, but they don't practice it. And God has shown in the past He isn't very fond of the hypocrites. I guess we'll see what God thinks about the Fundamentalists. But remember not all Christians are like Jerry Falwell and James Dobson and Pat Robertson. Some of us are sane.

He's not a fundamentalist. He's only one more jerk-off in here who for some reason LOOOOOOOOOOOVES to rag on the Christian faith. Too many people seem to think that following the teachings of Jesus Christ means that they have to torture and kill anyone who doesn't believe in the Christian faith. And the worst part of it is that Christians are powerless against such attacks because any sort of defense is immediately misinterpretted as an attempted conversion, which apparently is a worse social grace that committing murder.
WTF is wrong with this picture?

There are certainly some fundamentalists that DO think that way
but remember that the people who use Yahoo do not form
anywhere near a balanced sample set across people in America.
The majority of yahoo answerers are under 20 years old
and so are likely to answer more extremely than those who have
had to, say, earn a living.
I admit, though, seeing some of the answers here is very
discouraging.

Well, I cant tell if he is Christian or not, Id say not a fundie at least. All in all he doesnt seem like a bad guy. I dont find offense in his quesition really. I dont think any of us have never had a thought to beat someone up. Heck I see atheists here asking if they should ban together to KILL Christians.
There was a lot worse things he could have said than "can I beat up non believers?"

No. I don't want to beat up on anyone, of course I don't consider myself a fundamentalist either, so I guess I can't really answer this question with a proper understanding of fundamentalists.

How do you know this person is a "fundamentalist"? Do you know him or her personally? With the name "Grim Reaper" I doubt they are a Christian. Believe it or not, some atheists come on here and masquerade as Christians, but they are easy to spot.

Okay, so you think that someone with a nick as "Grim Reaper" and displays that avatar is a "fundamentalist?" You've got a problem with discernment, not fundamentalists.

its about fun with a dame.
even GOD DAME said yeah i had fun with HIM and it left Me with i son named ME. and whole commandments thing said worship no god but ME. which if you follow the story is IVI stitched together [iL vut other ME within Me is My freind TODD.
of course they do because its one code.
but beleive in god is a differrent story cause the means beleiveing in TODD the son ot the times new roman font LORD and GODDESS which puts TODD as the son of the LORD and GODDESS which was ME basically after I die. cause most honors happen postphumasly. so in my vain attempt means i am more famous than any angel you know. so fn fn you before i die. i require a certain amount of respect or i will pisss all over your before you have a chance to respond cause god is alway one step at least ahead of you mortals. ha ha hah hahah i can't stop laffing at that! so smokem if you gott em. at least us in the 20 th or 21 first century can laff at that.
Source(s):
bible and fact 1 and 7 both are the sum of the devil and satan just like Stevens.n is the same thing all are mixed up .17 stitched together just like my photo. so didn't you inadvertantly voted me invisiable ruler of the earth based on new world translation of holy scriptures so have a laff at that cause when i fell low i laff at that. one of best movies i saw was patch adams which said laffter is the best medicide. and any body that new my thoughts knows that is true about me. so unless you wish physical harm upon me or anyone i know , good fn luck. i only say fn cause jimmy in good fellaws swore alot. its not my normal talk but what if that movei was true and highest honor italians could give is MADE. the worlds highest honor biblicaly was to be named EMPEROR. does that mean italians could be out ranked?
answer that cause I AM an art critic.
so protect your friend from ME cause love ove god could be deadly when cyrus the persian wants GOD JEHOVAHs turf and He was leader long before any modern angels.

"If Jesus came to you and you could ask Him one question, what would it be?"
"Can I beat up non-believers?"
Who said GR was fundamentalist in the first place? Sounds to me like he was simply being a smart-a$$... kinda like you.
a$$-u-me... yeah- don't make an a$$ out of U and me by "assuming"
The only exercize you get is jumping to conclusions!
Speaking of "peace and tolerance my a--".. you should hear my brother-- yeah, the rest of the fam is Christian, Republican, conservative, all that fun stuff... He's um, well he says he goes to some non-denominational Christian church, he's Democrat, liberal, gay, etc..
Yeah, well... you should hear the stuff he's said to me and the other "kids"... "peace and tolerance"... LMAO!! HE's the one who needs to learn peace and tolerance. He's said some of the meanest, cattiest things I've ever heard in my entire life!!
And when he came out of the closet, I simply told him I didn't approve. He's called me about his love life and I've given my advice, haven't called him names, etc.
Mind you, my biggest concerns about him are that his partner is HIV+... STUPID, STUPID!! Does he WANT to die??
