They're right the Jews don't believe in Jesus. Christians are the one's who are anxiously awaiting His return. He's going to do alot of things when He comes back, including taking believers to heaven.
As far as the time, no one knows the exact time. But if you check out the Book of Revelation it will give you some hints. If you look around and see some of the things that are happening (i.e. strange storms/weather occurances--think Tsunami's & Katrina, propensity towards 1 world currency, and of course the current events happening in Israel) and compare that to what you will find in Revelations you'll see that His return is not too far off.

He's here already, in full force ...
Koran also says that none will know time of Resurrection except God.
We on Earth shouldn't feel bad. Zarathustra said it would take 9000 years to defeat forces of evil. Koran says a day for God could be 50,000 years for us... so ... it could have taken longer...
Why? Well ... I think we'll ultimately find out that it's something about the technical details of embedded transtemporal information paradox ... and how to unravel it, naturally, with minimum collateral damage... er... collapse.

The Jews are not waiting for Jesus. They never claimed that he was their king. And Jesus never claimed that he was their king either. Jews do not believe that Jesus was the son of God.

He will restore peace to all. He will be the savoyer (or however you spell it) of the world.
Are you sure that Jesus was the "king of the Jews"? He never claimed he was. The Jewish people wanted him to be their king, but he fled because that was not his duty and would just be a distraction.

actually it was Pontius Pilate that put a sign above our Lord and Saviour saying "King of the Jews" Pilate was reluctant to hand Our Lord over as he washed his hands of the whole affair, but he was afraid of the people.
When Christ returns, the Jews will believe on Him, He will take his church up to heaven with Him and God's wrath will be poured out on all unbelievers and who blasphemed the name of Our Lord.

Think of how long it took until he was born in the first place....that's about the time he'll need to return.
Once he returns he'll probably do similar things as he did the first time. No reason to think he changed his ideas.
