I am curious to know why or how the Angel Gabriel would tell Mary one thing - that she would be the mother of the Son of God,(http://www.twopaths.com/story_BirthOfJesus.htm) and then tell Mohammed another thing, that Jesus was not the Son of God? Were they two different angels? Were they from the same source? Not having read the Koran or Quran, I don't know the exact wording the Muslims would use.

He didn't. Gabriel told Mary the truth. Paul tells us a couple of things about things that were to happen later:

"And no wonder, since Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." (II Corinthians 11:14)

And

"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ to follow a different gospel, which is not really another one. To be sure, there are certain people who are troubling you and want to distort the gospel about Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should proclaim to you a gospel contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that person be condemned! What we have told you in the past I am now telling you again: If anyone proclaims to you a gospel contrary to what you received, let that person be condemned!"
(Galatians 1:6-9)

Muhammad believed what Satan (disguised as Gabriel) said. Islam is a "different" gospel. And is really not good news. In Islam, the only hope of heaven is either through martyrdom, or through Allah measuring your good works against your bad deeds. If you fail in that measurement, no heaven for you. This is why people strap bombs to themselves and kill infidels in Islam.

The only requirement for heaven in Christianity, which has the really Good News, is that Jesus came to earth, God incarnate, paid the penalty for your sins and mine on a cross, and dying thereupon, being buried, and rising from the dead, defeating death and Satan. Once that is confirmed by you in your heart, trusting in His finished work on your behalf, your cross over from death to life. (John 5:24)

Islam acknowleges the virgin birth of Jesus but does not recognize Him as the Son of God.
Only God could have produce a Son thru a virgin.
Therefore, Islam is lost.
To deny the Son means to deny the Father.

You either believe one or the other, as a christian I believe Jesus is the son of God. They both can't be right. The bible says the only way to get to the Father is through the son. I just pray for everyone to see the light.

God Bless you.

I don't think Gabriel was really the angel that came to Muhammed, but it was Satan in the disguise of an angel of light. Remember Satan wasonce an angel so close to God he was one of the angels at God's throne. So I don't think that was Gabriel at all who came to Muhammed, but it was Gabriel who came to Mary.

The bible is correct. The other is conflicting because its not true. Gabriel is an archangel, and is supposedly the only female archangel mentioned, at least according to Enoch.

He got drunk a lot and told all sorts of **** to all different people. I heard he even told Mary that he loved her but then totally hooked up with her sister.
