any girl will know instantly if you have pre thought/planned of something to say. the best way is to approach a girl without anything planned at all,that way anything you say will be spontaneous and above all genuine,even if what you say sounds a bit weird or silly what will come across is honesty and that above all else is what anyone will appreciate and this in turn will make the girl want to know you more as you are not putting up any false images of yourself. Just be yourself even if that means coming across nervous or shy,some women love men being vulnerable etc. just enjoy yourself.

There's no best thing, it's always going to depend on the individual and the situation. If a girl seems to be interested in you from body language, then find a way to start a conversation - a compliment, offer of a drink, whatever. Then it's just really important to be yourself, and see if the two of you click.

It all depends on the situation....If you don't know her at all and she appears to be open for converstaion you might want to start by asking her how are you today..or try and relate to her in any way. For exapmle I've been appraoched with...."Are you waiting on someone?" Or "did you just get off work.."..And the infamous.." I know a pretty Lady Like yourself has to have a Boyfriend..." -lol. Now if oyu work with her, all you'd have to do is Say so what do you do on your spare time.....or what do you do for fun..those always start great convo's,

Intro yourself and then talk about small stuff like what she likes and which classes she's taking. But don't sound gay (unless you are) and say " I love you shoes!!" Ask if she likes sports. And at the end of the conversation, if you feel that she likes you and you are brave, ask her if she wants to have lunch with you. Good Luck!!

Ask her for some advice, a question that cannot be waved-off with a yes or no. "My sister would love a top like that - you always dress so stylish, where do you shop?"
It's a lot better than "You have lovely eyes".
Just relax, be yourself, try to get her to open up, without interrogation or confrontation.

Complement something about her. Examples:
What a lovely necklace. Where did you get it?
You have really good posture -- do you do something like yoga or pilates?
Your eyes are a very unusual shade of ___, but you probably hear that all the time.
