Why is it Guys don't like fat girls?

Many people have the misconception that because you are fat, that means you are lazy or don't care about yourself and that can be a big turn off to men. Another thing is that larger women tend to have less self-esteem and less confidence in themselves because of the stigma attached to being overweight and the hurt that society places on them.

Confidence is very attractive and when a woman is lacking in that quality it makes them less attractive to men. So basically, it isn't just the being "fat" that makes the guys not like them, it is a multitude of things in a woman's personality that might come with the fact that she is overweight.

I think It has to do with 2 things. One Is guys are visual. They think with their eyes before they get to know someone. Second, they want to Impress their friends.(Hey look who I'm with.) Most men eventually grow up and realize that It Is the person that counts. If your over weight try to lose some for health reasons. But, If a guy will not talk to you because of weight then he Is not worth having In the first place. Join a gym or social activity that has people That are In the same situation as you and you will find a friend.

Thats not true at all because I myself am not all that skinny and I happen 2 have a bf and he likes me just the way I am and he tells me that everyday. When I say I dont like something about myself he will always be behind me and back me 100 % that I am Beautiful just the way I am.

I know a lot of girls that are overweight that get what ever guy they want. It is all in how you present yourself and how you feel about yourself. If you are confident in how you look then men will pick up on this, but on the other hand if you feel like you are a fat no one then that is what everybody else sees.

I think it has to do with the media. A lot of guys see pretty ladies in commercials, magazine ads, tv shows, and in movies.

Majority of these medias use pretty and skinny people to promote their products.

But yeah, there are guys who are idiots. They only look at their beauty from the outside and not on the inside. I guess if they had a girl that is in great shape, they can show it off to their friends, etc. I don't know... but it's really strange to see how this world is corrupted because of the media.

There are some nice gentlemen out there that like girls that aren't skinny, etc.

Who said that all guys don't like fat girls? Now, do you mean a little chubby or like 500 pounds? Cause the 500 pounder is just gross. A little chubby isn't anything to be worried about. Most people are a little chubby.
