no, not really. What most people don't understand is that to reveal a good stomach it isn't about strengthening your abs, its about lowering your body fat. You should still do an ab workout, id really suggest atleast 4 sets of 20, but if you want your stomach to look really good you need to do cardio also. tap into those stores of fat even if you dont have much of it. This will show off everything so much better, you skin will tightly hug your muscles, thats when it is best to have those toned abs

One of the best workouts for abs are bicycles, as they will work almost every section of your abs. If you are only wanting to do one ab workout, I would strongly suggest switching to this one

Thats not enough u need to do a variety of excersises to work the different muscles in your stomach....try sitting on your hands than lay on your back and lift your legs up and down at a speed you feel comfortable with. Try to do around 100 of these a day and within 6 weeks u will notice the difference

Not really, if u want a drastic result, I would shoot for 100-200 a day, then kick it up later. Stars like usher and beyonce do 600-1000 situps to maintain abs. But I got my flat tummy from jogging.

Maybe for starters but after a while you might want to boost taht up maybe to 200 a day because your stomach wont feel a thing. Also dont forget to do the side and lower abs for the complete look.

well, you abs need a day to recover after you have done an ab workout. if you do them every single day then you wil be really sore and they wont recover. try every other day, or on days where you feel really good, do them again, but i think you might want to do more than 40 a day.. try 100

As long as you're doing them correctly. Crunch's are a bit better, but harder to do. Do a google search for the correct way to do sit-ups or crunchs. If you do them incorrectly, you can actually make your abs bigger (muscle behind the fat) and it will be harder to get rid of.
