Is it because they think that they get a free pass from God for having the fish displayed, thereby making it okay to drive like a dick?

LOL!! I KNOW!!

Here's another thing that I've noticed:

My girlfriend works for a financial company where she has to do a lot of collection calls (call people who didn't make their payment on time or are past due) and she says that the people who have answering machines and voicemails that quote the bible, or "praise jesus" or "god bless you" are the ones who are ALWAYS past due!!! LOL... instead of paying their tithes they should be paying their bills!!! LMAO

I don't know if they are more inconsiderate or if I just notice it. Many people don't remember that when they put a statement of their religion on their car that other drivers will see them as a representative of that religion. I thought long and hard before putting something on my car that identifies my religion. What I decided on is so subtle that many wouldn't know what it means, but still, every time I get into the car I remember that I could be a representative of my faith. I am a more considerate driver. I took on the responsibility of representing my faith when I made the decision--and I take that responsibility seriously even though few people would even recognize the symbol that I display.

Someone else mentioned that the after-church crowd were the worst tippers. I was a waitress for years and I have to agree with this. We all hated to work on Sundays because of the low tips and rude customers. The after-church crowd were the absolute worst people to wait on---the Friday and Saturday night drunks were much more considerate and generous. Literally none of us wanted to work on Sundays. And this was true in every restaurant that I worked in.

I don't believe it is only people with the fish icon on the back of their vehicles that are most inconsiderate. I believe it is the women drivers that put mascara on while driving, the male and or female drivers that think that the absolute best time to read is when they are driving, or the people who like to make phonecalls while driving. Oh, and lets not forget, the people who like to lay down in their seats so low that they can't see above the steering wheel and have to look through it.

God taking the wheel leaves the Christian's hands free to flip you off twice (which I have seen out of someone who was driving with the fish on the back bumper). You got me as to why, it is against God's law to be so inconsiderate.

That's such a cliche and I agree that you are just looking for the fishes. There are inconsiderate drivers in all sizes, shapes, colors and religions.

Have you ever noticed that this type of generalization is a form of racism? You are a spiritual racist and look for excuses to blame Christians for anything you can find. Good luck with that. I hear that type of ignorance allows people to live in a fantasy world where only their beliefs matter. It sounds like heaven.

Now, I too have noticed this. Especially when church-goers come pouring out of church parking lots after services like they own the road. Some of the rudest drivers I have encountered on the road have the fishies.

Maybe you just notice the one with the fish on them because you were once a fish and it is shiny and fish are attracted to shiney lures.

I have a Darwin fish on my bumper, so of course when I see a Jesus fish, my goal is to get in front of that driver. :-)

Not that the message will get through or anything, but I still like to offer it.

people with the fish are not inconsiderate, but the way you describe them driving, and the name you use on this site, makes it real obvious where you are lacking child.
