Alcohol will do that to people. You were either calling to get a piece of action or to pick a fight. We've all been there. I wouldn't be surprised if he called back the next day to remind you of the conversation. Good luck with that.

We all do it. I read this in a magazine as a way to prevent that from occurring again: Take your ex's number out of your cellphone. You can leave it in a safe place like an address book or something that you keep at home, but you won't be able to reach for it while you stumble out of the bar. If you know his number by heart, this will never work. Sorry.

This is why the Bible says we are not to drink to excess...it impairs our judgement making us oblivious to the repercussions of our actions while under the alcohol's influence. It doesn't say not to drink...just not to drink until it influences our ability to reason.
