You can wear whatever is appropriate for the dinner. Usually a nice dress if the dinner is at a nice restaurant. No, it doesn't need to be white, though, any color you want is fine!

The bouquet of bows is usually made at a shower. Someone collects all the ribbons and bows from the gifts and puts them on a paper plate to be used as a practice bouquet at the rehearsal. This isn't required, but if someone made one for you, then you should bring it along.

Congratulations!

Some brides wear a short white dress to the dinner, but you don't have too. I wore a dress in the colors of my wedding. My daughter did the same. Her colors were brown and dusty rose. We got her a pretty skirt and sweater in those colors. The bows and flowers are optional. This is your wedding so you should have control over the decision of what is done and what's not done. Of course you should let the man you are marrying have some say. ha ha

I just got married 10 days ago, and I wore a nice skirt and dressy top for the rehearsal and dinner. My husband wore dress pants and a shirt with tie. I asked the rest of the wedding party to wear a casual/dress attire. Whatever you prefer is the rule, its your day so that means its your pick! Just make sure everyone is comfortable because you might be there for a while!

My mom made me the bouquet that you are talking about, but I didn't use it!! My husband brought me real flowers and I used those instead!

No, you don't have to wear white. Just be sure to look nice. Even if your dinner is very casual, still look neat and put together. The bouquet with ribbons starts with the bridal shower. At the shower, a bridesmaid is supposed to collect all the bows from your presents and make a fake bouquet for you at the rehearsal. Its not a big deal if you didn't have one made, a lot of brides don't bother with it.

I say it depends on where the rehearsal dinner is. Ours is at Maggiano's which isn't super fancy, but we are sort of dressing up because we will be seeing family we haven't seen in a while and also to look nice in pictures. I am wearing a somewhat casual dress that I got at Bebe....

Just don't wear jeans and a t-shirt!!! It is a special occasion...
No need to wear white though. Be fun and colorful!

Nothing is required! :) You don't have to wear white. Wear something you feel gorgeous in, all eyes will be on you and your fiance! A skirt and blouse, maybe, or a pretty summer dress, if it's warm still. Or you could go a little dressier and wear a pantsuit with a pretty blouse.
It's a good excuse to go shopping and try stuff on and see what feels right to you! :) Good luck!

Whatever you want to wear, and it doesn't have to be white. You're going to want to take pictures, so just look nice. If you're having a fancy rehearsal dinner then you'll want to get dressed up. I just wore a cute skirt and a nice shirt.
