Jimmy Page had a specific interest in Alaister Crowley. He often had upside-down crosses and that kind of stuff. He played around with satanism. That's why.

Led Zepplin is a band that derived much of their music either from the works of Tolkien or other mythologies. In the eyes of the Christians, any reverence to a god other than their own is foul and evil.
Secondly, the band in general (as most others at the time) lived a life of excess and low "morality". This lack of morality showed a disregard for the rules "commandments" set forth by the church.
Throw those together and the only obvious answer in the minds of the Christians why anyone would do that... they must be Satanic!

Not sure. I had a youth minister who loved Led Zepplin. I don't know much about them but I like some of the music.

That's simple if it doesn't worship GOD it worships satan. the world is made up of good and evil there is no in between but people see it as merely entertainment the same goes for rap,hip hop,country, and anything else that causes your mind to have wicked,lustful, or envious thoughts.The same thing with TV it all plays to your subconscious mind and causes separation from GOD. I've seen on here people saying Christian are brain washed by the bible,when people are being brainwashed by what they listen to and watch.

Or maybe because Rock n' Roll is an instrument of the Devil...but definitely one of the two.

ed sawyer is right about jimmy page, he was facinated with crowley. but christians have attacked alot of rock musicians, not just zep..ac/dc, ozzy,hell, even the beatles, and on and on... for some reason, they think everybody plays records backwards, and then commits suicide or goes colombine from listening to rock.. these are the people we debate....?????
