I like Macaws, they're nice looking pet birds but they're high maintance and can get loud.

I have to agree with Norman on hummingbird. But a very close second is a hawk. Last year, I watched a nest of red shouldered hawks grow from 3 weeks to first flight. It was a hoot. Each one had its own unique personality. They are a beautiful bird.

I have had a parrot/ and parakeets/ and lovebirds and all kinds of wild birds~(I seem to have a gift for healing or taking care of lost stray or baby birds and animals) but i think my fav is a wild white hawaiian owl that flew in my yard~just a baby~ I brought him to a vet and he taught me how to feed it~pieces of rodents and small lizards~ect anyway when he got big I released him into the wild//// but he lives in a big keawe tree outside my backyard//// he hoots all the time~he's talking to me

I like the Blue and Gold McCaw... they are pretty and intelligent.
What I really want is a crow, or raven. I will have to work with an animal rescue operation and get a permit before I can have one, though.

Probably the Eagle........takes my breath away too.
House bird would be a finch. LOVE the chirping.

i don't know that i have a favorite .. but i saw an eagle soaring over the roadway on my way to work this morning and its funny, but every time i see an eagle it still takes my breath away! the're just so beautiful.

I love all parrots, but I suppose my favorite would be Congo African Greys.
