Ask for the girl's name, and then start talking for a little while. If she asks for your name, that's a good sign. Get the phone number and get out. Later, call and try to make a date. If that does not work, and she does not make another offer, flush the number and move on. Good luck!

become friends with them, and then ask them out for dinner and a movie, or if you wanna do something out of the ordinary, go ride bikes, and have a picnic, or go swimming, and have a beach party

just go for it, theres no need to be afraid of a chick.... i know just being honest with women seems to work nowadays....if you do score a date do something cool besides dinner and a movie, take her to make some pottery or something original, sounds gay as hell but it works lol....now call her and get that date man.....good luck!!!!!
