ah. strips color? do you mean natural color, or dyed?
I'd suggest Head & Shoulders.
What is a clarifying shampoo, btw? is that any type of cleansing shampoo? because all shampoos cleanse...
oh, Dove shampoo works wonders as well. or Neutrogina T-Gel.
But I think they have shampoos that are specially designed for dyed hair-- like Clairol (spelling may be off) or Tresemme most likely would have a solution.

I am sure you have tried the shampoos for oily hair so a quick fix is to throw a little bit of powder in your hair. Sprinkle a little talcum or cornstarch powder in your hand and rub it into your oily scalp parts. Then you brush it in real good. It will cut that oily look and feel down quite a bit.

Try only using conditioner only every other day or maybe twice a week, also try to keep from pushing it back with your hands, which leaves oily residue behind. Also if you put a little bit of baby powder in your hair at the roots it will absorb the oil & moisture and it won't leave any white behind it blends in with your hair and it leaves it smelling fresh and clean longer.

Don't always use shampoo when you wash your hair.
Try washing it only with water at times.
Always using shampoo is not really healthy anyway.

dont use conditioner. if you dont get every little drop of conditioner out of your hair, it makes your hair oily. plus, stop touching your hair, the oils from your hands and what you have already touched will get caught.

Use Pantene Pro-V. It works really well. Also, maybe your not scrubbing hard enough.
