Don't take a chance. Get a new Epipen. Although medications only start to lose their potency after the expiration date, is a bad allergic reaction something you want to mess around with? Call your doctor and get a new one.

Epipens usually have a long shelf life but I wouldn't use it after the expiration date because your reaction to the stings can be fatal and I wouldn't want to take that chance.. Best to get another one..

I have opened an expired condom to see what was so 'expired' about it - the rubber had become more solid and split/crumbled easily. Don't risk it - you will be kicking yourself if you end up pregnant/diseased.

Don't use it - epinephrine has a short shelf life. Besides - they have a pretty good failure rate.
call and get a new one

If you were drowning, would you want someone to toss you a life raft with a hole in it? It might work, but would you want to chance your life on it?
