Ok, this is dumb and embarrassing but true: I've been texting this guy I like and he's been texting me back, nothing major just chatting, but suddenly he said something in his latest text that made me realise he thinks I'm someone else! He thinks I'm one of his guy friends. What do I do, should I tell him who it is? Or just carry on texting him as before and say nothing about my identity? Or should I just stop texting completely and pretend nothing happened?

Tell him - do it in a jokey way and pretend to be offended that he's so daft as to think it was someone else.
There's no point in not telling him if you want to carry on chatting with him for longer, he would realise eventually. And he's obviously getting on well with you if he keeps responding, with any luck he'll realise that and act more on it when he knows it's you!

Maybe he thought that just THAT ONE text was from a guy friend.. or he sent you that text by mistake and its not happend before, just tell him who u are.. if you meet in person all the time it will be fine. If you only speak through texts try not to scare the poor bloke ' i'm not who you think....' mwahahahaha

I wonder if he's gay. Text him and ask who he thinks you are. Make it a multiple choice question if you have to. Still, thats weird.
