Othaniel (son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother); for 40 years. Check Judges 3:7-11

The first Judge in Judges 2:18 was unnamed and his term of service was not mentioned in Scripture. The first name judge was Othniel (judges 3:9). It seems to indicated in Judges 3:11 that he reigned 40 years.
