They area all good choices.
Spanish:
+ If you live in the southern states or a northern state that has alot of spanish speaking people, then you can't really go wrong here.
-Spanish is a very common language.
French:
+French to me is a BEAUTIFUL language. I just love the sounds. Northern states and Canada have some French-Speaking people, so do the southern states but not many. You will also be able to read the instructions and information on french products. (I recieve alot and I can't understand them). French is not too common of a language where I am at (Texas), so it would be unique.
-From what I hear, it is hard to develop the French nasal sounds and so on. (and with my slight texan accent, my trying to speak french with no accent sounds just awful)
German:
+I alos quite like this language. It is very unique. I like the way it can sound, and I like German accents.
-It is very guttural...I don't really like this, like with Japanese and others. I'm not sure on the difficulty of the learning part, but it is not widely spoken (in the US anyway) and I don't know what use you could put it to unless you visit Germany, find the occaisional person who also speaks German, or reading menus. (or cursing *grins*)
All these languages are beautiful, and any of them would help if you went to that specific country, or you go to a resturaunt that serves cuisine from that country. haha..
think about the cons and pros, make a list, (longer than mine) and go with it. Which sounds do you like the most? If you don't have any preference, or can't decide move on to a different question. Maybe you could ask on Yahoo how hard it is to learn each one. Go with medium difficulty.
Goodluck!!

I would choose Spanish ~
Spanish - This will most likely be good for your career in the future, since there are a lot of Spanish people in this country. (The most useful 2nd language in the United States)
French - If you want to learn a romantic and beautiful language, however, it is a lot more difficult than Spanish (personal experience)
German - It's a nice language to learn, but I wouldn't suggest you to pick this than the other two in school. (unless you have reletives or friends who speak German also)
Good luck,
Venlisa

If you live in the US, choose Spanish. You will have so many more job opportunities if you are bilingual. It is a fun language and you will enjoy using it. There are many more Spanish speakers coming into the country than French or German speakers.

Personally, I would recommend the French language. I took 3 years of French in high school, and so far I have taken 2 years in college. It's a beautiful romantic language, and it's easy.

It depends on where you live, and what you like. If you live in the southern part of the US, Spanish could be useful. If you live near the Canadian border, French might be more useful. I took Spanish when I was in school because my mother made me, and because I lived in Phoenix at the time.

If you plan on staying in the US, I would recommend Spanish. There is a great need for people who speak Spanish. Many companies will pay more and you are more likely to be hired for a job if you are bilingual.

I would take Spanish if I were you. It's faaaaaaar more commonly used wherever you go in the U.S. I took French in high school & it was pointless cause I've never gotten a chance to use it.
