don't love kids enought to want them in the future.Do you think I am a bad person because I don't love them this much?

Some people just don't like little kids. How old are you anyway? I ask because occasionally this goes away as the old biological clock starts to tick. I never liked children and didn't really want any but lo and behold I accidently got pregnant and I love that kid to death--so much so my husband and I had 3 more! I still don't have a natural liking of small children not like some people do. I have to really get to know them and see if I like their personalities first.

I have two youngers siblings (6 and 8). I used to think I wanted children, but after I started living with them, it all changed. I don't think I could be a good parent. I think some of my mom's intense anger rubbed off on me...I am good with children usually, though. So maybe it's just a sibling thing. But at the moment, I'm not sure about children. I love kids, but I don't really want to LIVE with them.

I'm one of those "don't like kids that aren't mine" people. Other peoples little kids drive me bonkers. They're cute from a distance, but that's it. I'm not normal, so can't say its normal to feel like that, but it's true. If you don't want kids, don't have any, it doesn't make you a bad person, just an honest one.

Hey join the club. I also have this predicament. I want to have children but I wish I could skip the annoying ages. (0 - 9) I don't know I hope I get over it. But I can tell you it's normal a lot of people are like that. Some people get over it, others don't.

I, along with many others who are still somewhat "in the closet," are childfree--we do not have children, nor do we want them. Some of us hate kids, and some of us love them. You will probably get bashed by some people as a baby-hater, but ignore their calls to spawn.

Not every popular idea appeals to everyone.
It's perfectly normal, though you will hear a lot of negative responses from people who don't understand. I think it's only their cuteness that keeps most kids alive sometimes, regardless of whether the people around them "like kids" ; )

Well some people just don't like kids. That doesn't mean they're bad people (unless of course they actually show hatred toward them). But just remember, you were a kid once too.

Well I love little kid's but we are all different kid's aren't for everybody but I would say you are fine as long as you don't get the urge to hurt them.

you are normal. some people just don't "click" with kids, and that is perfectly fine. I know several people who decided not to have children and they are happy with life. Do what is right for you, but don't do something rash like sterilization, you might change your mind at an older age.

Well. that depends on the reason why you do not like kids.
If you do not like them because they are noisy, or too active, that is normal, but dislike them simply because they are kids, then you
are not a friendly person.
Kids are young, innocent, you were once a kid too, remember?
