This is really difficult,I was baptised Anglican,I have never been too sure about what this implies. My beliefs are 100% Christian and this is the religion in which that I would like to be Baptised. My husband is of the Greek Orthodox Christian religion and he believes that Christianity is just like Jehova's Witnesses.I have never told him of my beliefs and that I would really like to start going to Church every Sunday with my son,I think he will get very mad,he is not a very understanding person. How can I go about this situation?

You have already been baptized once; therefore, there is no need for you to be baptized again. If he does not understand Christianity as a Greek Orthodox, then he needs some serious lessons by his priest. Jehovah Witnesses are not Christians, but Greek Orthodox are. Do not make your husband angry by sneaking around behind his back. Talk to him openly about the situation and go from there. Jesus loves you.

I am not sure what you mean by Christian religion? I am a Christian but I practise the Byzantine Catholic faith (similar to Greek Orthodox; however, we are under Rome). If you are not attending any liturgy or mass then I don't see why your husband should be offended. Perhaps you should speak to the pastor at your church for guidance. I also agree in the power of prayer. Unfortunately, I am not clear on your religion but I hope I have helped.
God Bless!

Go to both churches and let the kids decide when they grow up.
He won't like that very much, maybe neither will you.
What's wrong with two views?
The alternative is to stay home and "home religion."
Surely the TWO OF YOU can find something in COMMON in the Bible!
To be frank, if that's impossible then the Atheists are right and religion is BS.
If a Greek Orthodox Father and an Angelican Mother can't agree on at least SOMETHING in the bible, then there is obviously something WRONG with relgion!

So basically you married your husband under false pretenses by not discussing this major difference between you *before* you locked him in. That's pretty crappy. He'll probably leave you over it anyway, seeing as how you lied to him by not telling him the truth, so by all means, go to church with your son, it'll give you a head start on being back out on your own.

you should go to church and you should take your son with you. this is going to sound horrible but you will only live with your husband for say another 50 years but you could be in hell forever. i know what my choice would be. i just need to pray that God will change your husband's heart and that he will become more understanding. there was a women in our church who prayed for her husband to become a christian for 9 years before he got saved. i just want to add that my denomination doesn't believe that baptism will save. it's just a way to show people that you've made a spiritual choice.

Break it to him gently... Its God's will that you and your son should go to church; He can work things out for you. Aside from looking to heaven for your solution, I'm not sure what else there is for you to do...I'm sorry I couldn't offer more of a ready solution.
