Are Atheist people their own religon?
Why do they care so much if im Christian? I dont go around door to door pushing people to belive.
CW Lewis tried to write a book on how God isnt real, but then became a beliver and wrote Chronicals and related it to the bible
Im going through a hard time in my life im 19 and my religion is growing strong and beliving

Atheism is a belief system, that is loosely organized, and hold specific doctrines (ie No God) for their followers.
They care about Christianity because of internal guilt/fear that their belief structure offers no hope for life. Now or eternally.
The hard times you are experiencing at 19 will be important in the future. There are always reasons why difficult situation occur in life that we simple do not, can not understand in the present. I am told if you wait the Truth will reveal the reason for all things. I believe this is great advice. You are in my prayers with many others reading your post. Chin up! Jesus knows what you need before you even ask, but he would still like to hear from you.
God Bless

I've heard from atheists that being an atheist means that they don't have any religion, not that atheism is its own religion. They even went so far as to complain about people that say it's a religion.
Not all Atheists care if you're Christian or not, I'm sure. It probably just seems that way. Just as Atheists seem to have a negative view of Christians, they see some that... are questionable at best, and think all Christians are like that. Not all atheists care.
For the atheists that care, they've probably gone through a lot of people trying to convert them, lol.
Sorry to hear you're going through a rough time... be sure to pray to God for help. Glad to hear your religion is growing strong though!

Sumtimes atheism is a religion in itself. u gotta believe there is absolutely no God and that ur completely alone in this world, and that would take a lot of faith (in WHAT i dont know).
sum ppl r just naturally nosy, so try to ignore them. its great that u r strengthening ur own faith, that will help with leading others to God; even tho no one will ever have all the answers while on this earth. God Bless!!

I can't speak for atheists because I am a believer in God. I can tell you that I hope you continue to look towards God and know that He will head you on the right path.

It depends on your definition of "religion" typically I would say no... Atheists don't believe in any higher being, so there isn't really any kind of religious practice associated with that... Oh and it's CS Lewis

Sweetie, I don't care if you're a Christian. You have to do whatever is right for YOU.
I hate being discriminated against for not believing as much as you hate being discriminated against for believing.
I hope you find peace in your life, and that your beliefs give you the strength you need. Peace, ok?

no, we're not a religion. atheism is the lack of religion. if you want to be a believer, fine, just believe your beliefs and don't bear false witness.
and if you keep your beliefs to yourself, you'll have no quarrel from me. however, don't ask me to respect your belief in somethtng despite the lack of evidence for it. I respect your RIGHT to your belief and would die to defend it.
and why are you asking xians about atheists? do you get your science in church, too?
