I would appreciate some serious answers. I have also asked her to think about what she wants to do. We will probably go to a movie and out to lunch. I was hoping maybe I could get some more suggestions...thanks!

Lunch and a movie sound great. My daughter is 14 and she loves movies and lunch. It's our little girl thing. She also likes shopping of course. even if we don't buy anything we like to look. If there is a mall close enough you could wander around the mall for a while.
I hope it helps.

I would definately suggest a manicure and pedicure!! They are so relaxing.

I recently had one done with my 9 year old daughter, she is more tomboyish so I didnt think she would like it, but she loved it. It was very relaxing.

The movie and lunch is still a good idea.

Depending on where you are located, there are a lot of beaches/piers that have rides.

Get a really large triple scoop ice cream sundae and hang out at a local park on a blanket under a tree and shoot the breeze or chit chat and talk about things that a young teenager would want to talk about that she couldnt talk to her parents about. (I have done this with my nephew (15), it works).

Hope this helps. Have a great time.

If after a movie and lunch what about going swimming somewhere or to a park to walk and talk, or maybe take her shopping let her pick out an outfit or a pair of shoes or earings something girly she will enjoy ...Enjoy your day together!

shopping! Take her to get her nails done? Movie is good (make sure she picks the movie) or a magic show would be fun (if you have any around you) or bowling?
