There are so many religions in the world. Do you think it's possible that for some, Christianity will simply never work for them, no matter how hard they try? Perhaps another religion is the only one that will work for them? Do you think this could be true? Do you think some people just can never be a Christian and/or it would never work for them or make them happy?

"Don't knock it till you try it." Been there, done that.

If the individual dose not believe in Christ then he is not a christian is he, Christianity is simply a belief in Christ for people to follow, it is not any different than Islam or Buddha or any other religious sec out there that has a prophet, I simply believe in God and I did not need Christianity or religion to tell me what I should or should not believe, Christians are not necessarily happy people but their leaders sure are because you are helping them acquire vast wealth, so for me "Christianity" cost to much money, God looks after me very well thanks and he dose not charge me a dime to talk and or pray to him, so my answer to you is stay christian stay happy keep paying and please have some respect by not saying it to loud it can be offencive to some.

Of course. I'm not a Christian because I don't believe their dogma. But I'm not singling them out by any means, the only religion I've found that suits me is being a Unitarian. It amazes me how many people get their panties in a wad worrying about what other people believe (or not). If people would just stop and look at it as you have this world might be a better place.

A lot of Christians make the movement of Jesus scary, unpallitable, unrealistic, phoney, etc.

Plus, why would Jews, the chosen people, want to become second class citizens!?

Paul said Christians got annexed through Jesus and get to enjoy the benefits of the Jews!

Why go from the real thing for a substitute like Sizzalean? I wouldn't expect them to, especially since they made most of the changes Jesus was looking for! In case no one has notice the Jews don't go around stoning whores at the gates of the city anymore! The Jews have made a lot of good progress and they still follow the traditions that Jesus followed but Christians don't!

Everyone knows Christians pattern their holidays after Pagan dates. They don't do the last supper anymore. They don't do Passover! Jesus did and will do Passover (he said so, he will sup with his disciples again on the Passover holidy in his fathers house after the end of time).

I am a follower of Jesus, by the way...

Some people shouldn't be allowed to be religious never mind a Christian. Consider this.

We hear so much these days of religious leaders (vicars, priests etc) molesting children, especially innocent young boys, one wonders how much is still swept under the carpet to keep up the illusion “God is good” or “the Bible is the truth” or you name it.

The truth is, there are far too many child abusers in privileged religious positions, whether it’s sexual or physical abuse. The percentage of religious abusers is just way higher than the normal per capita ratio.

Quite a few violent criminals on death-row seem to suddenly find God (surprise, surprise) so going to jail seems to be a good way to become a religious believer. No wonder so many religious people are violent.

Religious parents are unknowingly just emotional paedophiles, raping their children’s minds. Religious believers are quick to suggest that humanities problems have nothing to do with religion, it’s just bad choices of interpretation by individuals.

That’s a disgraceful cop-out, especially as the damage religion and religious followers have caused to the world is clearly self-evident. Over 80% of the world’s troubles, violence and savagery has been directly caused by individuals associated with one form of religion or another.

If you genuinely believe that humanities problems are not caused by religion, but by individuals who interpret religion the wrong way, then why not protect children from any form of religious teachings until they are adult and have a free unbiased mind to choose.

A baby, a child, a youth is not a individual in the mind sense, let them become adult individuals and decide what if any religion they wish for themselves, otherwise you simply rape their mind with your damaging ways – that’s emotional paedophilia.

Religious people are so cruel to their children – God is just a monster. Nothing could possibly be more mentally damaging to children than telling them over and over again from birth there exists an invisible person (God or whatever) who is unwilling to prove he exists watching them every second of every day, reading their thoughts, and if they don't believe in this invisible person they will be tortured for eternity.

Yet we tell the same children that monsters don't exist so it's silly to be scared of monsters.

Who would want to be Christian in all honesty.

Some people actually know how to think properly, and so it is unlikely that they would be seduced by ANY religion... particularly one that is based on the myths, superstitions, fairy tales and fantastical delusions of an ignorant bunch of Bronze Age fishermen and wandering goat herders, and containing such nonsense as:

*  a universe in which all that exists are the earth and heaven
*  solid 'firmament' structure (the sky) separating the earth from heaven (terrarium earth)
*  talking snakes (with legs) and donkeys
*  shepherd staff turning into an asp
*  demons chased out of people and into pigs
*  friendly spirits
*  evil spirits
*  walking on water
*  multiplying loaves and fishes
*  food falling from the sky
*  conception by a ghost
*  people raising from the dead
*  the sun stopping in its tracks
*  parting seas
*  people being bodily sucked up into heaven (which, by the way, lies on the 'other side' of the sky)
*  world-wide flood that drowned the earth to a depth of 40 feet above the tallest mountain
*  creating people from dust bunnies and ribs
*  magical tree of knowledge
*  god speaking from a burning bush
*  ritual cannibalism, by eating god in the form of a cracker

Absolutely. I'm a prime example. It's not for want of trying that I'm not a Christian; I just can't swallow it.

It would never work for me or make me happy. Quite the opposite; it'd make me miserable because I would be forcing myself to believe something that at heart I don't.

Christianity does make you happy and those who say it doesn't just don't know the truth. By accepting God you accept peace. Don't knock it til you've tried it.
