acuvue is a great brand. dailys are the healthiest to use ut they are very expensive.

acuvue are very good. i use O2 optix(they're 2 week use, not as costly as dailies, but still safe) because they allow more oxygen into the eye. this makes them comfortable for longer, and cuts down on the possiblity of an infection. if you get your eyes examined, your doctor will most likely recommend a brand that will be best suited to what you need(ex: extended wear time, you plan to sleep in them, etc).
all contacts should be cleansed daily(unless you get the dailies that you throw away). your hands still have bacteria on them when you wash them before putting contacts in. also the solution they were sitting in will have the dirt/bacteria that came off of the contacts.

I use Acuvue and Refresh contacts. I have had no problems with them. It depends on the solution you buy to put in your case whether you have to wash daily. I don't. I use ReNu. I have heard that some people are sueing them though for eye infections, but I have never had a problem. I am wondering whether those people changed their solution daily and took care of their eyes. Who knows. I don't know of any other solutions that are 'multi-purpose'. It is a rinse and overnight solution in one. Also you don't have to rub them like other solutions call for.

I have worn them for years. I prefer the day & nights brand. They are extended wear meaning you can sleep in them or wear them longer than 8-10 hours and allow more oxygen to reach the eyes. I take them out every so often (about once a week) and soak them over night. they are really not as bad as some people make them out to be as long as you follow the directions and take care of them.

The most convenient ones are daily contacts you just throw out after wearing one day. No need to clean and very little danger of eye problems if you wear them for one day only.
I like Focus Dailies.

i use acuvue by Johnson and Johnson...they are really good...i have been wearing contact lenses for about 3yrs now and i have never had a problem with them. i have even fallen asleep a few times with them in my eyes and it didn't cause any infection. the only time i have a problem with them is when my allergies are acting up. yes, you need to wash them daily and wash them before you put them into your eyes.

It all depends which brand you use. I use Acuvue & they work well for me. I cant sleep in them though, so every night i take them out & put them in a case w/solution in it. Then i put them in every morning, not taking them out until i go to bed. But really it all depends which fells comfortable in your eyes as far as brands go. And as far as washing, i'd say once a day, in the morning before you put them in & make sure to put them in solution when you take them out & i wouldnt recommend sleeping in ANY contacts, even the ones that are "safe" to sleep it. Ive had to many problems with that

Have your eyes examined and find out what's right for you before guessing what "might" be right.
