I don't really think that, but that would be a typical religious rebuttal. Here's another one:

"God was talking to Israel in the first verse, and Ninevites in the second."

Here's another one:

"These verses are talking about two TOTALLY different situations."

There are a million ways to remain in religious-minded thinking, and these are only three. I wonder if anyone will use these excuses...

nor is 1 kings 7:23 which states that what we know of as Pi is exactly 3 instead of 3.14.....
