Every war that Israel has been involved in, since its inception in 1948, was started by the surrounding nations.
Israel has never had designs on taking over the whole middle east. They merely want the territory that the U.N. Resolution that created the nation in the first place.
If Israel laid down its arms, they would be wiped off the map. If Israel's neighbors laid down their arms, there would be peace.

It seems your question is flawed. See, ever since the break-up of the Ottoman Empire, after WWI, the Jewish state has been pushed and pushed some more because the fascist Muslims see Israel as invading on thier land. Even though the jewish people have ancient claims to the land. In the current situation, Israel is simply pushing back.
This new crisis is unique because the deep anti-American feelings have led the Middle Eastern Muslims to hit America where ever it can. by bring America further into the war in that region, ie Israel, it will create a common cause for the Islamic faction to band together in all out war against the United States and her allies. thus starting a world war where both sides misunderstand the other.

The premise of that statement is flawed. Israel does not have the manpower nor the population to occupy and defend an area the size of the middle east.

Before the Jews started their conflict, WW3 was well on it path......the world is against terroism, and Israel does not want the whole middle east, they want to live in peace....without being attacked......

No war is worth it ,so why don't the muslims lay down their arms and just accept the fact that the State of Israel has a right to exist along side it's muslim neighbours.
