Glock 21 is good if you want a 45 but its a BIG 45.

I'm partial to .45 caliber. I would suggest that you get a Glock in .45 caliber because .45 is powerful and hard-hitting. Glock has 3 pistols in .45. they are the 21, the 30, and the 36. The 21 is a full-sized pistol with a 10 round magazine for civilian and a 13 round for law enforcement. the 30 is a subcompact .45-- perfect for civilian concealed carry. it also has a 10 round magazine. the 36 is a slim-line pistol with a 6 round magazine. I would not suggest the 36 because in my opinion it's too small and doesn't carry enough bullets. My favorite Glock is the 30. all you have to do if you want to carry it around is to get an inside-the-pants holster. you attach your holster to the inside waistband of your pants and just wear your shirt over it. no one will know you're packing as long as your shirt isn't terribly tight-fitting.

Aren't you glad you got so many serious answers? The answer should actually be pretty easy. First decide which caliber you want then decide how you are going to use it. Get a compact model for concealed carry or a full-sized model for home-defense or duty carry. You can't go wrong with any Glock since they are all essentially the same gun just in various sizes and calibers. I'm preferential to the Glock 19.

Glock is one of the best pistols on the market, no wonder why the law enforcement use them. Personally I like the Glock 25 .380 is very reliable, has a magazine capacity of 17 rounds, weights 7.20 oz fully loaded and has 3 safeties.
If your looking for higher firepower the Glock 17 .9 mm it is the one for you with the option of a 17 round magazine capacity and a weight of 9.87 oz (fully loaded) won't let you down.

You're probably going to get quite a few opinions on this as the debate really centers on caliber versus the different Glock models. And I'm guessing you talking about the 45 ACP versus the 45 GAP calibers? Personally, I'm partial to a .45 ACP as it's a big, heavy bullet with lots of power. Obviously, the 357 Sig round is potent as well, but I prefer the existing documented history of the ACP as a stopping round since WWI. Just my .02 worth.

Glocks are broken down in size ranges. Full size, compact and sub compact. They also have some that are compensated as well. It really depends on what you want caliber wise, what you are comfortable with.

I carry the 21C .45ACP with trijicon night sights. I am very happy with it. The rail on the bottom is very tight, and accessories for it are very easy to get.
I also carry the H&K USP .45 tactical. I am very pleased with that too, but it is more $.
Definitly go with the 21
