Those poor battered women shelters...someone needs to maintain the buildings better. I've seen some pretty battered shelters for dogs too. Battered Pet Shelters are probably as common.

Because alot of women end up wanting to escape and hide from somebody that is regularly attacking them. I don't know why there aren't any battered men shelters, apparently some men get battered too.

Battered women are really nothing to joke about, but since this is under jokes and riddles this is my answer:
Because so many female employees at the pancake factory keep falling into the vats.

because women put up with it for years and then decide to leave.
If every man who hit a women had charges pressed against him and the women left him, this wouldn't happen. Men would get that

because they were abused and threatened by their abuser and needed a safe place to go for sheltering.
All because of ABUSERS
