Firey Leo and Earthy Virgo don't usually fare well as a couple. But, and this is very important, a lot of the compatibility has to do with the person's Moon sign as well as their Sun sign. Nevertheless, it has been the experience of this Mystic One that back-to-back astrological signs aren't the most compatible, but there are certain exceptions, of course.
But remember this, as the immortal Bard, or someone, once proclaimed:
"It is a wise man that rules the stars, but it is a fool that is ruled by them."
I say, give it a go. It never hurts to try, and most differences can be overcome with maturity and cooperation.

It is so funny you ask. I am a leo female and have never, ever, in my life either met a virgo that I could carry on a relationship with (even friendship for that matter) and every leo/virgo relationship I have seen was disasterous.
Now. Please note that many people do not carry every characteristic of their signs. You two may do GREAT! I'm currently with a Capricorn (not a favourable mate for my sign) and have never been happier.

Just happens. I'm a Virgo and I met a Leo when we were 12 years old. We have been deeply in love for 48 years and still goin' strong.
