In England schools will generally go back the first week in September, it can vary from area to area and indeed from school to school depending on their use of INSET days (training) In Gateshead, the majority go back on 5th September..

Depends on the area you live in. To get the exact date you are better off asking the other kids' parents or looking at the school term dates usually found on the local council's website.
