For those who are agnostic. Once the Rapture occurs will you then belive in the Lord?

What about the verse in the bible that states 2 men will be working in the field, one will dissaprear and one will remaine. Also the one that says He will come as a thief in the night. To me that is proff that the rapture will indeed happen. Now the word rapture is not written in the bible. But rapture is just the word that is used. It means to be snatched away in an instant.

I am an atheist and the day I see people jumping up out of their graves, I'll no longer be an atheist.

Unfortunately, the only rapture that the Bible talks about is no secret and does not give anyone another chance to make things right with God. Jesus said it will occur at the end of the world. The Bible does say that everyone will confess that Jesus is Lord at that time, but it will be too late for them :(

"Then Jesus told them another story: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who planted good seed in his field. That night, when everyone was asleep, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat and then left. Later, the wheat sprouted and the heads of grain grew, but the weeds also grew. Then the man's servants came to him and said, 'You planted good seed in your field. Where did the weeds come from?' The man answered, 'An enemy planted weeds.' The servants asked, 'Do you want us to pull up the weeds?' The man answered, 'No, because when you pull up the weeds, you might also pull up the wheat. Let the weeds and the wheat grow together until the harvest time. At harvest time I will tell the workers, "First gather the weeds and tie them together to be burned. Then gather the wheat and bring it to my barn..." Then Jesus left the crowd and went into the house. His followers came to him and said, "Explain to us the meaning of the story about the weeds in the field." Jesus answered, "The man who planted the good seed in the field is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed are all of God's children who belong to the kingdom. The weeds are those people who belong to the Evil One. And the enemy who planted the bad seed is the devil. The harvest time is the end of the world, and the workers who gather are God's angels. "Just as the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all who cause sin and all who do evil. The angels will throw them into the blazing furnace, where the people will cry and grind their teeth with pain. Then the good people will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. You people who can hear me, listen." (Matthew 13:24 - 43 NCV)

According to Jesus, the people of God and the people of the devil will not be seperated untill the end of the world!

"Angel" made an important issue here.

It is SAID we are NOT to follow false prophets.

Let everyone henceforth quote EXACT SCRIPTURES that delinate a "rapture" in their views or defenses.

Remember, following FALSE PROPHETS gets you the MARK OF THE BEAST and as such YOU DON'T GET INTO THE BOOK OF LIFE.

This one for the the REAL BIG BOOK and that's not the Bible. That's God's big book and it says who goes and who stays.

Thank you Angel for making a point that generate thinking for a change!

Right or wrong, it is now forcing real thought on the matter!

Doubting Thomas is my favorite bible character. He should be canonized as the patron saint of scientists: "Unless I see the prints in his hands and feet and put my finger in them, I WILL NOT BELIEVE!" That's the scientific method. By the way, the gospel of John in which that quote is found is a beautiful piece of human literature just like the rest of the bible. Don't put too much prediction value in it.

Yes it will...according to the Bible. I believe that very strongly. But, just for sake of conversation. If I'm wrong, no big loss. If YOU'RE wrong (those who don't believe)...
