Get some hair mayonnaise or a deep cholesterol conditioner. You've damaged and over processed your hair. Hair can't handle that kind of abuse. Since you want to work with a home remedy, get some regular mayonnaise, eggs, and coconut milk. Mix all together, sit under conditioner cap 15 minutes - 30 minutes, rinse. If you insist on blowdrying, put a LIGHT coat of olive oil on your hair first.

First, give your hair a break every once in a while. Instead of blow drying, air dry and straighten. You should go to walmart and buy pantene pro-v hair restoration emergency treatment. It will bring out some of the softness and get rid of the dryness. Second, get your hair trimmed if it is that dry. Nothing drastic, go for an inch or half an inch if you don't want that much taken off. Next, what type of hair straightener are you using? If it is a metal one, your hair will remain dry. Metal hair straighteners FRY your hair. That's right, it frys your hair like you fry an egg. Go to a beauty supply store or even walmart and buy a cermaic hair straightener. Your hair will be ten times better in no time. If you must blow dry your hair, use a blow dryer in which you can control the temperature settings. Don't put it on the hottest setting but maybe the second hottest setting (the one between hot and cold). If none of this works, see a professional.

You didn't mention if you have ethnic hair or just curly--short or bobbed, etc (noticed by your address, you appear to be a guy). Also, why home remedies? It's obviously damaged, and if there is gray under the color, white hair has a tendency to be dry and brittle. Why straighten it with straighteners, when there are protective straightening products and a flat iron that can do the trick. Go to a stylist or a beauty school, and let them evaluate your hair. Get the over processed hair cut off. If you insist on coloring it yourself...color just the roots that are showing...new hair only. Shampoo with an everyday color holding shampoo to make it last and always use a moisturizing conditioner. Use a deep moisture conditioner every two weeks and follow the directions. Go to a stylist shop or the beauty school and get good products. If it were me, I'd air dry my hair for a while, use a good leave-in protective straightener and use a flat iron to get it straight. I'm a female with an inverted bob with thick wavy hair. It's blonde (3 shades--color it myself). Thus, it would be brittle if I don't do the above. If you are truly into a home remedy, my grandmother, boiled flax seed, applied the gel to her hair, combed it straight and let it dry by itself.

Stop washing and drying it everyday. Your hair doesn't need to be treated bad everyday. If you continue to do this everyday it will always be damaged. You could also use once a week or month cholesterol or oil treatments. It also depends on how often you color your hair. You should wait at least 3 months before you color it, if you're doing it your self you probably don't realize that you are doing more damage than you think. Oh when you are doing a root touch up you don't need to put the same color on the ends. This causes it to be brittle too.

Wrap your hair more often instead of blowdrying it. Hair polish is great you can get @ anywhere beauty products is sold. Steam you hair at least everyweek since it's so dry or at least two weeks. Go back to old school and use curlers at least till your hair recoperated. Cut you ends 3days before or after full moon or new moon.. Root stimulator are great products
