i went blonde to please my bf. his ex was blonde and i thought he'd love me if i was more like her. he gives me more attention but it's more because he's insecure than fancies me blonde. He says he's happy however i want it.. but he hides his feelings. my hair is naturally almost black so my roots shows and it costs a fortune to do and it's breaking and getting thinner. i don't feel like myself anymore and think i'd like to go back to my natural colour. how will he react? I don't know. what do y'all think about it?

Your hair color/length/style should definitely be for you and no one else.
He should love you for you..your personality and self..not how you look or what color your hair is. He may be 'attracted' to a blonde but attraction isnt something that lasts.
You could always start by gradually adding low lights.

How do YOU like your hair? That is what is most important. Do you prefer to be a blonde, or were you happier a brunette? Never color your hair to make someone ELSE happy. B/F may not last, but if you take good care of your hair, it will. B/F should like you for you, not just for your hair color. And if your haircolor has to be the same color as HIS ex's...than apparently he is not over his ex. Doesn't sound like much of a B/F if it's causing you to lose your identity. Sometimes our identity is ALL we have.

girl what in the world are you doing i mean if your boyfriend loves you he loves you not you hair you are you dont color your hair blonde just to make him like you by seeying you almost like the other one he had before that is not good you should work in making him forget that other one not in making him remember her if he loves you hell love you in your natural hair color the real you if he dont well girl you have a problem he is insecure and he is not being honest with you he still love that other one and by looking at you blonde he can still feel like hes with her so girl be intelligent think and put all your ideas in order and act soon so you can find out whats the best for you ok good luck

i have black hair too and my bf likes blonde but i was like F U C K that thats me and if he doesn't like it then he can go find some blonde. I am proud of my natural hair color and you should be too. If u did it just to please him then u shouldn't think that way. If he can't accept u for who u are then forget him. I think you should go back to black, black is beautiful and any guy who doesn't like it can go f u c k off. And why does he want u to look like his ex?? is he still not over her??? u should ask him that one.

well i'd give him a heads up that your doing it and see how he reacts. if he seems to not care either way then yeah, change it back. If he really seems to care that your hair stays blond tell him (nicely) that it's hurting your hair. Hopefully he'll understand. it was nice of you to do that in the first place but if it's harming something that your stuck with for the rest of your life then re-think keeping it.

Your boyfriend should love you for who you are, not for who you remind him of. You want to keep this other girl out of his mind because he is with you, why would you want him to see this other girl every time he looks at you? Any changes you make should be for you and you only. If you want to go back to your natural color, do it. Your hair and pocketbook will thank you. If you lose him over your hair color he definitely wasn't worth the trips to the salon.

I have been every color in the rainbow! when u look in a mirror do u like what u see? Does it go with your skin tone? You can go back to your dark color and put a small amount of highlights in it. I think you need to be happy with your hair the way u want it to be!

I think its really stupid to change anything about your self JUST to please someone else. And why would you want to look or remind him of his ex. Maybe he fell for you because you were the opposite of his ex
Go back to your original color...before you loose all your hair (hey, that might be a new look for you)

Go back to your natural color if your Boy Friend truly loves you he will not care about the color your hair, he will love you for you.
for the color of hair does not make the person.

u shouldnt change 4 no1 in my opinion, if he loved u he wouldnt care if ur hair was green, ur hair has nothin 2 do wit ya personality, u should be yaself and if he doesnt like it, find some1 else who oves u 4 who u r and not whats on top of ya head
